Life’s Better Sweet

We’re building a family-run mobile soft serve creamery from the ground up, one part coastal nostalgia, one part dessert truck, and one part dream we decided to actually chase.

Our Story

A circular logo for The Sweet Life Creamery with a pink and white theme. It features a central ice cream cone with pink soft serve, a sun, and flying birds. The text reads 'Life is Sweet' at the top and bottom, and 'The Sweet Life' and 'Creamery' in the center.

Our primary logo represents the heart of the brand: soft serve, sunshine, coastal color, family energy, and the belief that life really is better sweet.

A Sweet Idea We Decided To Chase

The Sweet Life Creamery began as a family idea, the kind that starts small, gets talked about at the kitchen table, and slowly becomes harder to ignore.

What started as “what if we had an ice cream truck?” quickly became a bigger vision: a mobile soft serve creamery built around family, community, coastal colors, nostalgic treats, and the simple joy of giving people something sweet to look forward to.

We’re still at the beginning. The trailer doesn’t even exist yet. The menu isn’t finalized. The first cone hasn’t been served. But the foundation is being built every day, through planning, testing, designing, learning, and making one decision at a time.

That’s why we’re sharing the journey now.

We want people to see The Sweet Life Creamery before it becomes polished and finished. We want you to see the dream while it’s still being built: the concept art, the logos, the trailer ideas, the merch, the menu testing, and all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into creating something from nothing.

At its heart, this business is about more than ice cream. It’s about family. It’s about community. It’s about slowing down for a few minutes, enjoying something simple, and making ordinary days feel a little more special.

We’re building toward a March 2027 launch in Northeast Florida.

Until then, we’re inviting you to follow along, cheer us on, and watch The Sweet Life Creamery come to life one step at a time.

The Vision

From Concept Art to Real Life

Every brand starts as an idea. For us, the concept art is more than just a pretty picture; it’s the first look at the feeling we’re building.

Yes, we’re still in the early phases. The graphics and images that you see right now are AI-generated concept art, but the vision behind it is very real. We’re already in conversations with a fabrication company about building out the trailer you see in the mockups and turning this idea into something we can actually serve from.

The colors, the trailer, the merch, the soft serve, the coastal energy, and the family-friendly atmosphere are all part of the same vision: a mobile creamery that feels clean, memorable, and worth stopping for.

We want The Sweet Life Creamery to feel like a small vacation that pulls up to your neighborhood, your event, your school, your sports field, or your favorite local spot, something people see, smile at, take pictures of, and remember long after the cone is gone.

This is the dream before it hits the road.

One model has blonde hair and sunglasses, wearing a white t-shirt and denim shorts, a hat. The second model has dark hair with a flower in her hair, wearing a pink t-shirt. The third model is shown from behind, wearing a beige t-shirt and sunglasses, with palm trees in the background. Below, four baseball caps with similar logo designs, in beige, blue, pink, and white, are laid out on a wooden surface. The caps feature the creamer logo and the phrases 'Life's Better Sweet' and 'The Sweet Life Creamery'. Text overlay says 'Life's Better Sweet ♥ The Sweet Life Creamery'. Additional text mentions 'Premium Soft Serve', 'Sundaes', 'Shakes', and 'Good Vibes' alongside small icon graphics.

Where We Are Right Now

Still Early. Very Real.

Starting The Sweet Life Creamery has already been a bigger process than simply saying, “Let’s buy an ice cream trailer.”

Before the first cone ever gets served, there are a lot of real steps that have to happen behind the scenes. We’ve registered the LLC, secured the EIN, filed the DBA, started building the brand, and began learning how to share the story online, badly at first, if we’re being honest, but we’re learning.

And that’s only the beginning.

There are food safety courses to complete, Florida business requirements to work through, commissary options to find, inspections to prepare for, equipment decisions to make, products to test, permits to understand, and systems to build so this can operate the right way.

Then there’s the big stuff: finding the right fabrication company, planning the trailer buildout, buying the Ford F-250 to tow it, purchasing the trailer itself, sourcing soft serve machines, refrigeration, generators, supplies, inventory, packaging, toppings, signage, uniforms, and everything else needed to turn a concept into a functioning mobile creamery.

It’s a lot. More than most people ever see.

But honestly, this kind of leap is not new for our family. In the past year and a half alone, we packed up a life in Raleigh, North Carolina, sold our house, moved to Jacksonville, Florida with very little notice, worked through closing issues, started new jobs, and enrolled our son Landon into a brand-new school, all while trying to find our footing in a completely new chapter of life. It was a lot. It still is. But if there’s one thing this season has taught us, it’s that big changes do not wait until life feels perfectly calm.

The Sweet Life Creamery is another big undertaking in a long line of big undertakings. Our whole lives, we’ve taken on hard things, made uncomfortable decisions, and walked into situations where the outcome was not guaranteed. That does not mean we are fearless. It means we are willing. Willing to bet on the work, willing to learn as we go, willing to risk looking a little crazy for the chance to build something meaningful. Because at some point, you have to risk it for the biscuit — or in our case, maybe the soft serve.

But that’s exactly why we’re sharing the process now. The Sweet Life Creamery is still early, but it is very real. Every form, every call, every design decision, every lesson, and every uncomfortable first attempt at social media is part of the story.

We’re not just building an ice cream truck.

We’re building the foundation for a brand we want our family, our community, and our future customers to be proud of.

The Sweet Stuff

Yes, There Will Be Ice Cream

As much as we love the branding, the trailer, the colors, and the story behind The Sweet Life Creamery, none of it matters if the ice cream does not deliver.

The full menu will come later, but our focus is already clear: keep it simple, make it good, and build a lineup that people actually want to come back for. We’ll be taste testing different soft serve mixes, comparing quality, texture, flavor, consistency, and how each product holds up in real-world serving conditions.

We’re also looking into the possibility of working with local farmers and producers in Florida and Georgia to source soft serve mix or ingredients that help make the product feel more connected to the region we serve. Nothing is finalized yet, but that’s the kind of direction we’re exploring, local when possible, premium where it matters, and always focused on serving something we’re proud to put our name on.

From there, we’ll build around the classics: premium soft serve, cones and cups, sundaes, shakes, ice cream nachos, homemade choco tacos, ice cream cake ideas, and a few seasonal specials that fit the brand without overcomplicating the truck.

We want the menu to feel fun, nostalgic, and memorable, but also fast enough to serve a crowd. Because when the trailer pulls up to a neighborhood, school, sports field, party, or local event, the goal is not just to look good. The goal is to serve something people are excited to eat.
